Simply put your wellies on and head up Lindores Lodge hill – after a steep incline you reach the top which plateau’s across grassland. Sheep and cattle graze the land during some seasons so dog’s must be kept on a lead.
Walk across the plateau (passing Lindores Cross Country fences) and embrace the magnificent 360degree views. Look north and see the River Tay running between Perthshire and Tayside with the backdrop of the Grampian Mountains.
Look south and enjoy the Lomond hills (also known as the ‘Paps of Fife’) which tower above acres of rolling Fife countryside.
To finish the circuit from the summit meander down the hill past woodland looking out for pheasants, horses, deer and buzzards until you arrive at the farm. Then it’s a short 8min walk back from the farm to the Lodge.
